Beer of the terroir par excellence, the Season finds its origins in the farm-breweries of Southern Belgium, mainly in Hainaut. At the time, this low-alcohol beer, refreshing and satiating the thirst of seasonal workers.
At the Brasserie St-Feuillien, the Season is a top fermentation beer, re-fermented in the bottle, unfiltered, to a warm golden blonde. Its flavor profile is all in nuances and his bitterness well marked, all supported by a nice fullness in the mouth. A great classic.
After having been awarded in 2009 in London as the World's Best Season, the Season has won the Bronze Medal at the Australian Beer Awards 2011 in the category Belgian and French Style Ales as well as theMoney at the US Open Beer Championship 2011, in Atlanta, in the United States, in the category of Belgian Seasonal Ales. The Season also received the Bronze Medal at theBrussels Beer Challenge 2012 in the category Pale & Amber Ale : Saisonal/Saison.
In November 2015, when the European Beer Star in Nuremberg, germany, the Brewery St-Feuillien are distinguishable again and won a Silver Medal for the Season from St-Feuillien in the category "Belgian-Style Season ".
