Warning: Last items in stock!
The Beer Chimay red is a beer of type trappist to high fermentation, developed by brewer Abbey Our Lady of Scourmont in Forges in Belgium.
It is the oldest beers from the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Scourmont.
A beautiful amber color, crystal clear, the Chimay red has a nice foam, fairly dense and stable.
Its nose is rich, round, it has notes well malted and slightly roasted.
A first impression of astringency, mild, because of the carbonation. The yeast brings a touch of sweetness, and this chimay is, in spite of everything light enough.
The spread is the duration and the average amplitude, however, this improves over the minutes of the tasting. The bitterness is rather little. This is a trappist beer, entry-level, who has a personality rather neutral when it is consumed young and will win many to mature approximately 12 months in the cellar.
A test as input, and to build the palace.
